Who We Are:
At Future Black Female, our mission is to open doors and create opportunities that empower Black female youth worldwide—socially, politically, and economically. We are focused on building strong networks, advancing key skills, and advocating for the rights of the young people we serve. If you are a results-driven self-starter who enjoys tackling challenges and shares our passion for change, we want you on our team.
We are also committed to embracing diversity and breaking barriers. We understand that women and people of colour sometimes hesitate to apply for opportunities because they feel they do not meet every requirement, or imposter syndrome sets in because many spaces were not designed with them in mind. As a Black-led organization, we celebrate, uplift, and thrive on the diverse experiences and perspectives of our team, volunteers, partners, donors, and communities. We are not just for Black women—if you are passionate about making a difference and can bring value to our mission, we welcome you, regardless of your background, age, gender identity, race, religion, or sexual orientation. If you need any accommodations during the application process, please let us know. We are here to ensure the experience is positive and supportive, regardless of the outcome.
We are fully dedicated to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. If this role excites you but you are unsure if you meet every requirement, do not hesitate—apply anyway. You may be the perfect fit for this position or another within our organization.
Our Operations:
Future Black Female is more than just an organization—it is a movement for change. We empower Black girls and women aged 16-22 through three core pillars: mental wellbeing, financial literacy, and education and career strategies. Our national mental health program, powered by Udada.ca, provides personalized therapy, mental health resources, and a virtual community that uplifts Black girls and women across Canada. In Ontario, we are tackling economic security, gender-based violence, and intimate partner violence among Black youth. In the Niagara Region, we are deeply involved with Black communities, offering programs that meet their unique needs.
While we focus on empowering Black girls and women, we recognize that Black youth of all genders face systemic challenges like racism, economic barriers, and mental health disparities. We are creating inclusive spaces where every young Black person can find mentorship, resources, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Whether through financial literacy workshops, mental health support, or leadership programs, we are building a future where no Black youth is left behind. Achieving charitable status is a huge milestone for us—it reflects our growth and the importance of our mission. With it, we are ready to make an even bigger impact in the lives of Black youth, especially young Black women.
The future is bright for Future Black Female, and we are excited to continue this journey alongside our supporters, partners, the incredible youth we serve, and you. Together, we will create lasting change.
